Prada Spring/Summer 2019
Youthful elegance from the sixties, minimalist and A-line silhouette, and a perfect variety of workwear, leisure time, and night looks was presented by Miuccia Prada. The first two outfits to enter the runway were a beautiful example of how one outfit can have two souls: depending on the color. With color playing an important role in almost all summer 2019 collections, especially bold color, Prada showed us that color is the mood of clothing. The sophisticated effortless style from the Sixties was well represented in the juxtaposition of white dress and red or beige coat. Another excellent example of sophistication was the use of mini dresses with a sixties silhouette (more squared looking) and tie-dye motifs. The black sheer shirt with white top underneath and white skirt was a great option for casual workwear that is fun enough to last more than 9-5 hours. The polka dot black sheer dress is a very stylish garment you can incorporate into your style and make it work for office as well as night time. A beautiful collection with a street style spring in mind: urban and elegant.
